Artistic development
My approach
I spent many years working as an artist before moving into teaching theater, writting workshops and personal development through arts and creativity.
I have learned to use oriental theater approach, also called Butoh, during my studies. My true understanding of the creative process completely changed afterwards. I discovered the importance of the body in the creative process and its role in the artist’s work of integrity. This learning, combined with my previous acting training, became the foundation of my teaching.
In 2013, I founded the Muse-Toi workshops with an established approach, the body as an anchor to expression ; to ensure that you start from yourself to create, to become your own Inspiration.
Coaching
For over twenty years, I have been offering group workshops. I've also chosen to focus on private coaching so that I can provide each client's unique needs my undivided attention.
I work with theater, film, circus, storytelling artists and street performers. I use acting, stage and diction techniques, body and voice expression and text work if there’s one. Above all I focus on the exploration of your own artistic possibilities.
What do you want to work on?
A specific project? Take time to explore your artistic abilities? Audition? Theater or film role? Creating your own show, performance, exhibition? Take your artistic expression further? Find inspiration? I offer support at every step until the personal goal is achieved.
Theater workshops
My approach is based on the development of your own artistic potential. The purpose is to use acting and interpretation techniques to strengthen your own way to be an actor. Whether we are working on texts or scenes created from improvisation, the process has the same structure:
Warm-up : Exercices to bring your attention into the body, to feel grounded and promote emotional openness.
Lab : Games, expressive exercices and acting improvisation to leave you completely free to explore your creative abilities. This process gives rise to an organic acting, based on truth and develop listening and exchange with other actors.
Interpretation : Play text, or scenes created from improvisation, by using the body expression to unify the character's dramatic line. Posture, movement, gestures and voice support character’s intentions. Text analysis, staging and diction are incorporated into the character creation work.

Writing class
The goal is to express your own voice in writing. Throughout the process, we explore the connection with the body as an anchor for writing. A way to start from oneself to create.
It is why we first do simple physical exercices to feel grounded and then, let oneself be guided by the imagination.
Voice is also an important part of the process. Exploring one's voice freely becomes a preparation for writing, which also leads to reading and hearing texts using the voice as a personal barometer, to feel the accuracy and truth of writing.
During this workshop, we use proven creative writing techniques, as automatic writing, introspective writing, games writing, themed writing starters, poetry games, lists, etc.
We use also acting techniques as a way to have access to the sensations of the story and the characters that we are writing. For example, exercices of sensory memory (Actor’s Studio Method of Strasberg), exercices of imagination into the body (Anatomy ludique of Larry Tremblay), solo or duo improvisation, etc.
I will take time to get into the specific interests of each. Then, we established the steps of a good framework to let everyone explore their artistic expression, and as the case may be, complete a personnal writing projet.
